Good morning, Barb.
Wow! Aren’t you lucky. Big windows with lots of light are most homeowners' dream. I say play up those windows, don’t try to hide them. If you need privac,y then you may want to consider shades or curtains that can be closed. If you want to make the room look wider, try using a horizontal stripe fabric. I just did that for windows at the Susan G. Komen show house that will be featured on this year’s new shows. I have my own line of fabric now that you can check out on our web site (http://www.foryourhome.com/vickis-fabric-line/). I designed horizontal strips just for that purpose. If you don’t find the color or pattern that you like, try adding a 36-42” brand of another color to the bottom off 82” drapes. I recently did that for some really long draperies that I needed in my hallway. I love the way it turned out. Tall windows can also carry window toppers, however, I think that look is a little dated now. Hope this helps.
