I apologize I haven’t blogged in quite sometime but we have had a lot of exciting things happening at Cutters Productions.
We have been so busy with filming this season and decorating The Build for the Cure Show house. We kicked off October by attending the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, here in Charlotte. There were some great characters there. It was a lot of fun to attend this year and to represent Build for the Cure.
The Build for the Cure Show house that I decorated opened last weekend to a sold out Sneak Peek Party. Look at that awesome pink carpet!
I had a blast decorating but and am pleased that it is finally open for tours. If you are in the Charlotte/ Fort mill area go check it out!
Our upcoming season has 9 episodes dedicated to the Build for the Cure Show House. The 26th season begins airing in January. We had some many wonderful companies support For Your Home on the Build for the Cure project. The home came out beautiful and I can’t wait for the episodes to air.
Loved the show house in Fort Mill. Can you tell me where I can get the kitchen table and chairs? I’m not familiar with “Owner’s Collection” which is listed in the resource guide.
Thank you.
Good afternoon, Karen.
We are so glad you enjoyed the show home. The kitchen table and chairs are family heirlooms from the owners of the show home. The best direction we can offer is to check your local antique stores for those classic pieces. Thank you for your question and for supporting the show.
What a beautiful home! Who is the builder?
Good afternoon, Rick!
Thank you for watching the show! We are so happy you like the home. The builder is E.S. Johnson Builders (www.esjohnson.com). Please let us know if you have any other questions.
I visited the house & really thought it was beautiful. The floors particularly caught my eye. They’re really dark, so pretty. Can you share the type of wood and finish? Did I see a sign for Andersen brand? I’m not familiar, but I live in the Charlotte area. Please advise.
Thank you so much for supporting The Build for the Cure house and For Your Home.
The floors were Anderson Hardwood Flooring, hand scraped maple with a hickory finish. I will get back to you with the exact product name soon.

Who is the manufacturer of the tumbled marble used as a backsplash in the kitchen of the show house?
Hello Joan,
You can find the tumbled marble backsplash at Shaw. Hope this is helpful! Thank you for watching the show.
